DS106: What’s the meme?

I was in search for an amazing image for the meme project, so I started my task by scrolling through the picture library of my iPhone.  Then I found it…the picture that resulted from a hilarious moment that I had almost forgotten.  My family and I had just finished watching an evening movie last summer at Cinemagic.  We were walking through the parking lot when we spotted this van with a plethora of bumper stickers.  In our neighborhood you might see someone that has a conservative amount of bumper stickers, maybe 2-3 at the most, but never over 10.  At that amount, it is as if the driver is sharing his/her values to the world via a megaphone.   I will say that at first we were speechless, viewing the sheer amount of bumper stickers that plastered the back.  After only a few seconds, we collectively embarked upon the guilty pleasure of trying to read them all.  My husband and I, true Gen X-ers, greedily spotted all of the snarky pearls of wisdom and appreciated the obvious display of Ghostbusters, Big Lebowski, LOTR and Futurama fandom.  Chrissy and Cara, our daughters, also caught most of the sarcasm, but I feel it was most appreciated by a member of Gen X.  I remember taking the picture and then regaling it to my friends and co-workers the next day because it was so strikingly amusing.  I realized that this morning that it was a great meme option to share with everyone.
